MORNING TEA PARTY.
At her home in Fendalton Road, Miss Meta Nixon arranged a delightful tea party yesterday morning to honour Miss Joan Cooper, whose marriage will take place next week. The reception rooms were gaily arranged with bowls of zinnias, roses and carnations. An amusing competition was won by Mrs Gordon Rich. Those invited to the party were: —Miss Joan Cooper, Mesdames Hallows Wood, Peter Hall, John Moore, Geoffrey Smith, Gordon Rich, Lionel Cooke, Guy Cotterill, Gordon M’Credie, F. Cracroft Wilson and del Carl, Misses Anne Cooper, Nancy Gibson, Nancy and Joan Gard’ner, Isobel Turrell. Mollie Black, Kathleen Hoare, Mollie Chapman, Joan Maling, Halmai Loughnan, Mildred Kresse and Ruth WynnWilliams.
