Mr Lloyd George and “ New Deal ” Not Wanted. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, February 13. The political correspondent of the “Morning Post” says: “Cabinet has decided, after examination of Mr Lloyd George’s ‘ New Deal ’ proposals, not to invite him to join the Ministry. It is believed that the recent approaches have shown that he is not willing to consider an invitation except on condition of the exclusion of Mr Neville Chamberlain and Mr Walter Runciman. It was also considered unlikely that he would work with the Prime Minister.”
