LOAN TO RUGBY UNION.
To Restore Damaged Grandstand. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 13. A decision to grant a loan not exceeding £SOO to the Wairarapa Rugby Union to restore the grandstand at Memorial Park, Masterton, which was damaged by a hurricane a few months ago, was made by the New Zealand Rugby Union to-night. A deputation from the Wairarapa Union waited on the management committee to ask for aid.
