SERIOUSLY INJURED.
(Special to the “ Star.”) ASHBURTON. This Day. Severe internal injuries necessitating an immediate operation were sustained by William Henry Graham, aged 20 years, when he fell from a motor-cycle in the Mount Somers district last evening. His condition to-day was serious. A brother, Thomas, who was riding on the pillion, escaped with slight injuries. The cycle was following a lorry, which turned into a gateway, the motor-cyclists being swept off by a projecting load of timber. The cycle was not damaged.
