NEW GLADIOLUS.
Last evening the Floral Committee of the New Zealand Gladiolus Societv awarded a first-class certificate to the variety “Miss New Zealand.” This gladiolus was originated by Mrs W Julyan, of Blenheim, and was sent tc the society’s trial ground at Sunnyside This is the second variety to receive a first-class certificate in New Zealand Last year, one was awarded to the variety “Takina.” raised by Mr P Burns, of Wanganui.
