TROUBLE IN ALBANIA.
Rumour That King Has Been Wounded. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. ATHENS, January 9. The situation is obscure in Albania, in which Greece has complained of illtreatment of her nationals. Official circles declare that the rebel leader, Mourharem Bairaktar, has been defeated and has fled to Yugoslavia. Another version, however, announces his occupation of an old fortress with 2000 men, fully equipped and strongly reinforced by deserters from the Government forces and well provided with food by King Zog, who does not desire foreign intervention and is trying to reach an agreement with Mouharem Bairaktar. A third version says that King Zog has been wounded and has gone to Durazzo.
