The contingent that raced at “'oodville over the weekend is expected to arrive to-morrow. when other horses from district Centres are also likely to start putting in an appearance. The weather was overcast and muggy for the gallops of local horses this morning. The only notable trial was six furlongs on the plough by Princess Doreen and Synagogue. Princess Dorem was always just ahead of the rhree-year-old and she won the trial by a neck in Imin 15sec. the last half—mile in 49 l-55ec. At any time this would he an exceptionally good gallop on the Trentham plough. ‘ Might went very lazily alone in tale ing Imin filésec for a mile, the last. half in 54sec.
