Islands, Rocks and Reefs Being Searched. HOPE NOW FADING. (Continued from Page 1.) United Press Assn.—By lilectric Telegraph—Copy-right. (Received December 11, 2.35 p.m.) HONOLULU, December 10 Rear-Admiral Yarnell has called a conference for to-morrow night of the navy authorities to consider whether to abandon the search for Ulm. Three destroyers, which are 400 miles eastward, will return to-morrow evening. The coastguard ships Itasca, Tiger and Reliance are landing parries to search Bird, Necker and Nihoa Islands, the French Frigate Shoals and the rocks and reefs towards the west. Only one army plane was out to-day. The papers here published messages of thanks from the wives of Ulm, Skilling and Littlejohn. The fishing fleet is beginning to return from distances of up to 450 miles. The fleet did not sight the plane or wreckage. Public opinion here is that nothing will be found, unless it is iragments of the plane.
