Arrest of Boys in a Stolen Car. LOADED REVOLVER FOUND. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, This Day. The arrest of three boys, the recovery of a stolen car and the finding of a fully loaded, unregistered revolver resulted from the prompt action of a detective last night. The car was stolen in the morning, and a description was published. When on the way home with his wife at 8.30 in the evening. Detective E. Turgis noticed the car and left his wife to accost the occupants, but the car drove off swiftly. He managed to jump on the running board, and while the car was speeding uphill to Parnell, Detective Turgis opened the rear door and climbed in. lie found one boy in the back and two in the front, but the one sitting beside the driver jumped out. The two boys, after being interviewed, were driven home, and on examination of the car the police found a loaded six-chambered revolver in the back seat and they are now trying to trace its origin. The third boy was traced at four this morning, and all three, aged about fifteen, will appear in the Childrens Court.
