TWO FINE PICTURES.
“Freedom of the Seas” and “ 20 Million Sweethearts.”
Two excellent comedies providing a delightful entertainment are offered at the Theatre Royal this week. One of them, “Twenty Million Sweethearts,” has already proved itself at the Plaza, while the other. “ Freedom of the Seas,” gives thrills and amusement in equal proportions. “ Freedom of the Seas ” is a British production. It tells of a very meek young man who thinks that the best way of serving his country in time of war is to join the Royal Navy. Clifford Mollison has the principal role and he makes a perfect job of it. Whether it be in the lighter touch of comedy or the sterner dramatic sections, his work is first-class. Wendy Barrie is a charming heroine.
