Heaton Rhodes will unveil a stone fixing the spot where the early pioneers landed. An address will also be given by the Rev F. G. Brittan, one of the Pilgrims. After the ceremony the visitors will be entertained at afternoon tea in the Coronation Hall. The Lyttelton Marine Band will be in attendance. The week-end cruise arranged by the Banks Peninsula Cruising Club to Holm's Bay attracted sixteen yachts and motor-boats. The yachts made a good passage both ways. On Saturday evening a dance was held in the Pigeon Bay Hall, there being an attendance of over 120. Residents of the bay joined in with the visitors, and the dance proved a financial success. The Ereca Orchestra supplied the music. It was late on Sunday evening before the yachts returned to port.
