NEW DISCOVERIES.
Bee Sting Now a Cure for Rheumatism. Among the exhibits at the London Medical Exhibition at the Royal Agricultural Hall, which opened recently, Bee venom for the treatment of rheumatism; A drug from a Chinese plant which has been used for centuries to cure asthma; and A jelly for the relief of burns. The very latest apparatus for the production and use of all kinds of beneficial ravs is on view, states the London “ Daily Mail.” During the past year many important discoveries and improvements have been made. These will be represented at the exhibition. Operators and nurses are in attendance to demonstrate the working of machines for the production of ultraviolet and the infra-red rays, X-rays for ail purposes (especially portable apparatus, and shortwave diathermy for producing heat inside the body without affecting the outer tissues.
