SEXUAL OFFENDERS.
Sterilisation No Solution, Says Minister. MASTERTON, December 10. In reply to representations by the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union urging the sterilisation of sexual offenders, the Minister of Justice (the Hon J. G. Cobbe) states that expert opinion is now definite that the operation of sterilisation left the subjects’ anti-social proclivities wholly unchanged. In view of this the adoption of the i suggestion -would at best have an extremely limited value in solving the problem.
