THREW TWO BOTTLES.
Cook Fined for Disorderly Behaviour. Disorderly behaviour, which included the throwing of two bottles at the proprietor of a restaurant, resulted in the appearance of Emmett Jack Hussey, forty years of age, a cook, in the Police Court this morning before Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M. The accused, who pleaded guilty to behaving in a disorderly manner in Gloucester Street while drunk, was fined £3 and costs, in default fourteen days’ imprisonment. Time to pay was refused. Sub-Inspector M’Lean said that Hussey made a nuisance of himself whereever he went. At the time of the offence he was very much under the influence of liquor. He went into a restaurant and asked for money, using some filthy language when he was refused. As a result, the proprietor put the man outside, where he created a further disturbance and was arrested. Ihe accused was lucky not to have been charged with something more serious. He threw two bottles at the restauarant proprietor, but fortunately missed his target on both occasions.
