BURNS AND SHOCK.
Man Injured in Paint Shop. Per Press Association. GISBORNE. This Day. As a result of an explosion in the paint shop at his auto finishing factory, Eric Edward Mellor, 39 years of age, was taken to hospital suffering from severe burns and shock. Mellor was working overtime last evening and he went into the paint shop and lit a match. The explosion followed. Other members of the staff found his clothing afire and tore it off. Mellor’s hands, face and body were badly burnt.
