British Worker Charged at Bow Street. EMPLOYED AT WOOLWICH. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON', December 8. William Burges, a middle-aged man, described as a second grade computer at Woolwich Arsenal, w r as remanded at the Bow Street Police Court when he was charged under the Official Secrets Act. The charge was one of obtaining on December 4 certain sketches, documents and information which might be useful to an enemy and communicating them to an unauthorised person ; and also obtaining similar articles and attempting to communicate them to an unauthorised person to-day.
