SUBURBAN MUSIC CLASSES.
The following- is the completed list of scholarships and prizes for the suburban school music classes:— Special Prize (Victor Peters scholarship)—Harry Gibson. Private Tuition for six months—Gwen Bray, Wesley Allott. Noeline Saunders, Geoffrey Thorpe, Mavis Mateer and Dwyllis Lloyd. Private Tuition for three months— Ray Jacobs and Irene Yeatman. School Tuition for three months— Julie Thornton, Jocelyn St John, Daphne Tindall, Audrey Allott, Alice Nuttall, Janie O’Brien, Jessie Smith, Marienne Islienvood, Ray Lingard, Tom Dearness and Walter Counihan. Prizes were awarded to the following: Beryl Austin, Ola Willis. Joan Bishop, Norman Hider, Molly Butters, Audrey Prebble, Jean Lindsay. Mona Lindsay, Fay Benson, Natalie Benson, Leslie Teague, June Boulter, Colin Redmond, Kathleen Cogan, George Boswell, Lorna Holland, Joan Cable, Sybil Houghton, Hugh Downes, Graham Power, Winifred Stirling.
