NEEDLE IN HEART.
Successful Operation Upon Two-year-old. SYDNEY, December 9. Doctors at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital removed a two-inch needle from the heart of a two-year-old child. The needle had pierced the child’s chest in a fall and had not only penetrated an inch into the heart but was actually pulsating under the skin to its action. The child apparently is little the worse for the accident.
