Visiting Tourist Pleased With Arrangements.
DUNEDIN, This Day. “ I think you have a well organised Government Tourist Department,” said Sir Ilenrv Davies, C. 8.. of Exeter. Devon, in an interview, “ and I have come to the conclusion that in its hands a baby properly labelled could do exactly what I am going to do.” Sir Henry explained that he had visited the New Zealand High Commissioner’s office in London, where he had been provided with ample data on the resorts and scenery of the country. A plan of a tour of both islands had been mailed to him. together with a skeleton map. He had been told exactly what the tour would cost and he had been given an extensive itinerary, including the names of hotels at which to stay and details regarding the times of trains and cars everywhere.
