Arrangements are in hand for the second public performance of the pupils of Miss Letty Naylor, which will be held on Tuesday, December 11, at St Michael’s Hall. Durham Street. Lovers of dancing will find ample entertainment in the pleasing programme to be introduced. The operetta “ Princess of Poppyland ” will be presented by the pupils of Villa Maria, Riccarton, in their school hall this afternoon and on Monday evening. Those who have been present on former • occasions at the annual plays produced at Villa Maria know how interesting and entertaining they can be. This play is a bright one, with many novel effects, and the music, singing and dancing are most attractive.
