RANSACKED OFFICE.
Boys Broke Window and Stole Goods.
Breaking into the office of the Woolston premises of Walter 11 ill and Sons by breaking a window, two boys ransacked the premises and made off with a brief bag and various articles valued at 15s the property of the firm. This morning, the boys, 10 and 13 years of age respectively, appeared in the Children’s Court and admitted the offences. The elder was committed to the care of the Child Welfare Department, to be brought up in a home; and the other was placed under supervision for two years. Senior-Sergeant Fox said that one of the boys threw a stone at one of the office windows, and thus got it open. One was caught by a night watchman as he was making an escape.
