Freda Thompson Missing. IN CENTRAL AUSTRALIA SEARCH PLANES PREPARE TO TAKE THE AIR. United Press Assn. —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received November 8, 12.30 p.m.) DARWIN. This Day. Miss Freda Thompson. the girl flyer, left for Newcastle Waters at 10 o’clock yesterday morning, but has not reached there. She was reported pass mg Powell's Creek 60 miles south ot Newcastle Waters flying southward and it presumed that she missed New castle Waters and is now lost in Cen tral Australia. Two Moth planes are prepared to leave Darwin this morning to search for Miss Thompson if no word is received of her whereabouts. Miss Freda Thompson, a Melbourne girl, lias been engaged in a leisure!} flight from England to Australia.
