DOUBLE PROGRAMME.
Edmund Gwenn is starred in “ Marooned,” the principal attraction at the Liberty Theatre this week. With the plot working out in a storm bound lighthouse. “ Marooned ” is plentifully supplied with drama, but at no time dees it overstep the bounds of possibility, the excellent character portrayals of the players being sufficient to provide entertainment of a high order. Romance and comedy are blended in the drama. “As the Earth lurns, a human storv of farm life in the United States, is the second attraction Jean Muir and Donald Woods head a big cast of actors, and the storv of the reactions of different families to nature’s vagaries is deeply interesting.
