CHRISTMAS THEATRES.
Dr Thacker’s Notice of Motion. Councillor H. T. _T. Thacker has notified the Town Clerk (Mr J. S. Neville! that at the next ordinary meeting of the council on December 3 he intends moving; “That the applications of the picture theatre proprietors for permission to show pictures on Christmas Day, which were refused by the Bylaws and Finance Committee, be granted.”
