British Official Wireless. RUGBY, November 6. The Ministry of Labour estimates that at October 22 there were 10,206,000 insured persons between the ages of sixteen to sixty-four in employment in Great Britain. This total is 37.000 less than the revised figure for the month before, but is 279,000 more than for the year before. The number of unemployed persons on the registers at employment exchanges in Great Britain at October 22 totalled 2.119.63.5. This is 37.648 more than the number on the rosters at September 26, 1934, but is 179.118 less than a year before. The total last month included 1,700,784 men, 63.495 boys, 304,897 women and 50,459 girls.
