Canadian Team to Tour New Zealand. Per Press Association. WERRINGTON, November 6. The council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night received a cable from Dr A. S. Lamb, manager of the team of twelve Canadian schoolboy athletes, stating that the team would leave Sydney by the Maunganui on November 21, joining the Aorangi at Auckland on December 11. The counci arranged for the party to compete at Wellington on December 1, at Rotorua on December 4 and at Auckland on December 8. The council received an application from the Auckland Centre for permission to invite a team of Victorian athletes to tour the Auckland province from February i) to February 23. The team suggested was Woodhouse, M’Rardy and Coleman. While expressing appreciation of the enterprise of the centre the council, in view of the proposed English tour, decided to hold the matResuscitation of the regular contests between Australian and New Zealand athletes, dropped since the Australian Athletic championships lapsed in 1927, vras suggested by the Canterbury Centre. The council decided to reopen the matter with the Amateur Athletic Association of Australia, and also to ask for further information regarding the invitation for the New Zealand team to vl.lt Au.tr.lia during Centenary celeNew Brighton Club.
