SAILING DATES ALTERED.
Monterey’s Calls at Sydney and Melbourne. The Oceanic Steamship Company. Matson Line, announce an alteration in the sailing of the Monterey from Melbourne and Sydney. The vessel will leave Melbourne on December 12 instead of December 8 and passengers making the round trip from Auckland will be able to spend five and a half days in Melbourne and three and a half in Sydney. The vessel will leave Auckland, northbound on December 18, thus accommodating school vacation travel to Fiji, Samoa and Honolulu. The arrival date in Los Angeles will be on the morning of New Year's Day in time for the grand parade of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses, and also the national championships inter-col-legiate football game.
