ROOMS TO BE ALTERED.
South Island Poultry Association. The council of the South Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association met last evening in the Fanciers’ Hall. Mr G. H. Bradford presided. It was agreed to make arrangements to have the rooms renovated for the conference. This matter was left in the hands of the president. Arrangements were also made to provide refreshments during the conference. Mr A. H. Waugh, Dunedin, wrote concerning exhibitors showing other exhibitors* birds. The secretary was instructed to write and explain that the association has no jurisdiction over table shows. It was agreed to invite Mr S. F. Marshall, Canterbury-Westland representative on the New Zealand Poultry Board, to attend the conference. The Government Poultry Instructors, Messrs F. C. Brown and C. Cussen. will also be invited to attend the conference.
