Perry to Play Two Singles at Christchurch. REARRANGEMENT OF MATCHES Following the receipt of advice that F. J. Perry, the world’s tennis champion, is willing to play two singles matches during his visit to Christchurch, the management committee of the Canterbury' Lawn Tennis Association, at a special meeting to-day, made an alteration to the list of matches previously arranged in connection with the visit of the English players to the city'. In the singles Perry will now meet C. Angas, of New Zealand, on Friday, and G. P. Hughes, of England, on Saturday. It has also been found necessary' to make re-arrangements in connection with the umpiring of the games. The new list of matches with the umpires is as follows: Friday. 12.30 p.m.—Dorothy Dickey and J oar. Senior v. Shona Anderson and Eileen daly (Captain K. J. Walker). 1.30 p.m.—Miss Round v. Miss Ly'le (Mr H. G. Wake). 2.30 p.m.—F. J. Perry and 11. A. Barnett v. G. P. Hughes and H. Dymonrl (Captain K. J. Walker). 3.30 p.m.—Perry' v. C. Angas (Mr G. Ollivier). 4.30 p.m.—Hughes and Miss Dearman v. T. Rhodes-Williams and Miss Round (Mr J. W. M. Dart). Saturday. 12.30 p.m.—lvan Corich and Colin | Penfold v. Phil M’Gregor and Jack Copland (Mr 11. G. Wake). 1.30 p.m.—Miss Dearman and Miss M. Rudkin (Mr J. W. M. Dart). 2.30 p.m.—Perrv v. Hughes (Mr G. Ollivier). 3.30 p.m.—Miss Round and Miss T. Poole v. Miss Dearman and Miss Lyle (Mr J. W. M. D4rt). 4.30 p.m.—Perry and Hughes v. Angas and D. G. France (Mr G. Ollivier).
