Staff Entertains Friends at Dance.
Mr and Mrs E. \V. Farrier were the gtaests of honour at the third annual dance of the staff - of E. \V. Farrier, tailors, held at the Tudor last evening Mrs Farrier wore a graceful frock of black windswept satin and a silver lame coatee.
The committee responsible for organising this pleasant gathering comprised Mesdames A. Rait and T. J. Lagan, Misses Hilda Jones (treasurer) and K Milner and Messrs R. M’Kenzie (secretary), B. Grenfell and Kearney. Mrs Rait wore a frock of green floral crinkle sheer with short puffed sleeves; Mrs Lagan was in white satin and a net coatee trimmed with sequins; Miss Jones wore japonica red marocain with a cowl neck, and Miss Milner’s frock was of black ring velvet with a hydrangea pink yoke and puffed sleeves slashed at the shoulders.
An acrobatic dance contributed during the evening by Miss Phil Watson added to the entertainment of the guests. Smart’s Orchestra supplied the music.
