FAREWELL PARTY.
Mrs Anderson Entertained > by Old Boys’ Wives.
Mrs A. K. Anderson and Miss Bever- j ley Anderson, of St Andrew's College,; were the guests of honour at a pleasant; afternoon given by Mrs Henry Dowling and Mrs \V. A. C. M’Donald yester i day. The party, which was held at Mrs j M’Donald's home, Chapter Street, was arranged to enable the wives of the j old boys of the college and their! friends to bid farewell to Mrs Anderson and her daughter. Bowls of Iceland poppies were taste-; fully arranged about the drawing room, where the guests were entertained.; Songs by Miss Ranee Broughton, piano! solos by Miss Dora Charters and recitations by Miss Jean llenry were great-: ly enjoyed. A competition was won by Miss Broughton. Mrs Anderson was; presented with a beautiful bouquet and ■ her daughter was presented with a i dainty posy by the hbstesses. The guests were:—Mrs A. K.
