RICCARTON SPORTS CLUBS.
A meeting; of representatives of the Upper Rieearton Tennis, Cricket ann Football Clubs was held last evening in the Upper Rieearton Oddfellows* Hall. The chairman (Mr A. Biggs) said that the purpose of the meeting was to arrange a suitable date for a bazaar to raise funds for the erection of a new pavilion on'the Domain and to stimulate interest amongst local residents and sporting enthusiasts in the improvement of the district and domain grounds. The date for the bazaar was fixed tor October 27. Conveners were appointed from the combined clubs to take charge of the various stalls and competitions.
