Sydney Howard’s Latest Comedy. “Strike It Rich” will be screened finally to-morrow night at the Civic Theatre. British Dominions Films will present the latest Sydney Howard ccmed} r , “ Trouble,” at the Civic Theatre on Saturday. In the past Britain’s “King of Comedians” has been seen in many -different roles, his mirthprovoking antics in such . ? S “Splinters,” “Up for the Cup, Knight of the Garter,” and several others all calling for different studies, but this is the first time he has ever appeared on board ship. He is seen as a steward on a pleasure cruise boat bound for the Orient and his adventures are guaranteed to keep any audience in fits of laughter. In accordance with their policy of presenting only authentic backgrounds in their pictures British and Dominions sent a unit on a cruise to secure genuine atmosphere. By arrangements with the Orient Line, all members of the cast, together with the director, Mac Lean Rogers, sailed on the s.s. Orford on a fortnight’s cruise during which Tangier, Vigo, Casablanca, Gibraltar, Barcelona and Lisbon were visited, extensive shots being taken in each place. Othei members of a large cast include George Curzon, Muriel Aker, Wally Catch and Dorothy Robinson. Four excellent supports will complete the programme. Box plans are now open at the Civic Theatre.
