HOCKEY.
Players Selected to Train for Representatives. The following players have been selected to go into training at Buckett's gymnasium on Monday at 8 p.m. The selector (Mr C. C. Holland) intimates that, although eighteen players have been nominated for training, the final selection of the team to play against the Australian team on September 1 will not necessarily be confined to those named, who are:—J. Andrews. S. Andrews, H. Barnhill, H. A. Barnett, F. Bellamy, W. Bowden. G. Burke. J. Burke, W. Cole, E. Hooper. B. Duffleld. H. Ford, F. Forman, C. Hore. R. Moir, E. Prebble, C. Rogers, R. Rusbridge.
