Golf Teams to Play at Templeton.

The following teams have been selected to represent the Lyttelton Golf Club and the Lyttelton Ladies’ Golf Club in matches against Templeton teams at Templeton on Sunday:—. Men, F. H. Knights, K v Gower, M. L. Page, C. Plimmer, H. E. Ayres, - 11. Derbidge, C. Pascoe, C. Collins, D. E. L. Collett, H. Fletcher, H. G. Banfield, J. Shanlev, A. Jackson and D. R. Wallace: ladies. Misses Z. Hudson, M. Sowden, P. Plimmer, E. Ayres, C. Williams, Mrs V. Jackson, Mrs H. G. Fanfield, Miss H. Sowden. The first round for the colts* trophy will be plaj'ed on the Diamond Harbour links on Saturday. On Sunday the ladies’ July medal match will be played in conjunction with the final round for the Jackson Cup. The men will also play off the third round for the Jackson Cup. Players drawn to play in the first round of the Godley House trophy during the week-end must play or forfeit their match. Personal. Mr T. Martin, local secretary of the Seamen’s Union, is visiting Wellington on union business. Mrs E. R. Curtis and Miss W. WhiteParsons are expected to sail for Lyttelton by the Rotorua, which leaves London on August 2.
