INTEREST REDUCED.
At last night’s meeting cf the Christchurch Drainage Board, it was decided that the rate cf interest offered for moneys borrowed by the board by way of temporary loan, on rail, should be reduced from 2 i per cent to 2 per cent The alteration was made on the recommendation of the finance committee.
