OFFICERS ELECTED.

Annual Meeting- of RotaryClub Held. The twelfth annual general meeting of members of the Rotary Clof Christchurch was held immediate' following the weekly luncheon meeting yesterday. Mr Denys Hoare, the retiring president, presided over a large attendance. Rotarian O. Hutchinson, of Timaru, who has been transferred to Christchurch. was welcomed as a new member of the local club, and Mr C. H. Clibborn, who for health reasons gave up active work in the club some two years ago, was readmitted and accorded a warm welcome. The president, in moving the adoption of the annual report and statement of accounts, which disclosed a healthy position, extended his thanks to officers and members for their work during the year, and reviewed the activities of the club, referring in detail to the Bristol scheme, the management of which was being handed over to the new officers. The following office-bearers were elected: President, Rotarian J. Mawson Stewart; vice-president, liotarian L. G. K. Steven; secretary and treasurer, Rotarian S. W. Jameson; sergeant-at-arms, Rotarian H. B. Duckworth; Board of Directors, officers and immediate past president ex-officio; and elected by ballot,* Rotarians W. F. Blackwell. A. C. Bretherton, R. Adam Campbell, R. S. D. Harman and W. D. Revington; auditor, Rotarian Denys Hoare.
