TRIPLE TRAGEDY.
Mother, Daughter and Farm Labourer Shot. END OF ROMANCE. United* Tress Assn.—By ISlectrie Telegraph—Copyright. (Received Tulv 18, 12.30 p.m.) BRISBANE, July 18. A triple shooting tragedy occurred at the home of James Bushbv, at Anamoor, in the Gympie district. The victims were Olive Bushbv, wife of James Bushbv, Phyllis Bushbv, aged seventeen, their daughter, and Ivan James, aged twenty-five, a labourer, formerly employed by Bushbv, but recently dismissed.
The body of Mrs Bushby was found in the yard with a bullet in one temple, and the bodies of Phyllis Bushby and Ivan James were found lying together in the dining-room. Both had bullet wounds in the forehead. A rifle was nearby.
James’s attentions to Phyllis were discouraged by her parents and he was forbidden to visit their home.
