CIVIC HAS COMEDY.

George Gee in “ Strike It Rich.” George Gee, the well-known stage comedian, excels himself in the British comedy, “Strike It Rich,” now showing at the Civic Theatre. Catchy songs, brilliant dancing and a story packed full of fun give Gee, in the leading role, plenty of opportunity to display his talent. He is supported by Gina Malo, David Burnaby and Betty Astell, all of whom give performances in keeping with the high standard of the attraction. The story concerns the adventures of a downtrodden clerk. Excellent supports include the latest Pathe News, “Old Sussex” (scenic), Lion Musical Revue and “From Sand to Sideboard” (novelty). Plans are open at the Theatre from 10 a.m. daily.
