OLD PUPILS’ DANCE.

West Christchurch High School. A successful dance was held on Tuesday evening at the C.A.A. rooms by the West Christchurch District High School old pupils. Music was supplied by Shackle’s Orchestra. The following committee was responsible for the arrangements: Misses Kathleen Lee, Nina Devan and Rona Green, Messrs L. Bigg. B. Walker, KT. Phillips and W. Hadley. Miss Lee was in floral voile with a coatee to match. Miss Devan’s frock was of floral red crinkle crepe, and Miss Green was in pink ninon relieved with fawn. During the evening Miss Mavis Neate’s pupils. Misses Joyce, Marjorie Fraser, Daphne Fowler and Rita Brooker, gave an Irish reel. Novelty dances were won by Miss Nola Hall and partner and Miss Edith Collins and partner. Mr J. C. Wilton was M.C. Among those present were:—Misses Doris Baldwin. Maggie Anderson. Joyce Bell.
