VISIT TO FACTORY.
At the invitation of the management. Miss F. L. Cooper, secretary of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, arranged for a party of members to visit the factory of Messrs Lane, Walker, Rudkin. Ltd. The party consisted of over forty ladies and about 120 of the senior pupils of the School of Art and their teachers. The party was conducted by Mr C. Rudkin. Mr H. Lee and members
of the staff, and explanations were given of the various processes, the capabilities of the. machines and the output. Miss Moore, a vice-president of the auxiliary, thanked Mr Rudkin and Mr Lee for their kindness in permitting the visit and in explaining the
