“THIS MAN IS MINE.”

Modern Comedy-drama for Tivoli. “ Design for Living ” will be screened finally to-morrow night at the Tivoli Theatre. In “ This Man is Mine.” the modern comedy-drama which will come to the Tivoli Theatre on Saturday, Irene Dunne will be seen in what is said to be an entirely new type of role for her. This role, according to advices from RKO-Rarlio, is the forerunner of a series of more colourful characterisations than she has had in the past—parts designed to give scope for her native fire and animation. In “ This Man is Mine,” which is an adaptation of the stage success, “ Love Flies in the Window,” the star appears as a resourceful wife who not only manoeuvres to risk her husband to the tentacles of

a siren, but also fights to recover him when he becomes a victim. How the wife teaches her errant mate an unforgettable lesson is said to give a new and unusual twist to the story as well as to afford Irene Dunne an opportunity to display her dramatic talents to the best advantage. Ralph Bellamy is cast as the unfaithf- 1 husband, and beautiful Constance Cummings as the woman who tempts him to leave the straight and narrow path. Box plans at the D.I.C.
