NEW DOUBLE BILL.

Comedy-drama and Mystery Thriller. “ From Headquarters ” and “ Clearing the Range ” will be shown finally to-morrow night at the Liberty Theatre. “ You Can’t Buy Everything,” a comedy-drama, starring May Robson, and “ Shadows of Sing Sing,” a mystery thriller, will comprise the new double bill at the Liberty Theatre on Saturday. “You Can’t Buy Everything ” tells a beautiful emotional tale of a mother’s love for her son and her overpowering desire to make him the wealthiest man in America, all this feeling being embodied in her hate for a certain bank president (played magnificently, it is stated, by the veteran Lewis Stone). The son is played as a boy by Tad Alexander, the brilliant young Feilding, New Zealand, boy, who has made good in several major Ilollvwood productions, and as a man bv William Bakewell. Jean Parker, a coming star of the future, is well cast as Elizabeth, daughter of the banker and the girl wdth whom the young man falls in love and marries. May Robson gives a splendid performance as Hannah Bell, judging by overseas comment.

Bruce Cabot and Mary Brian play the leading roles in the thrilling “ Shadows of Sing Sing.” This film provides a refreshingly novel treatment of the “ gangster ” theme, concerning itself with the murder of a notorious “ racketeer ” whose sister is in love with a police officer’s son. Box plans at the D.I.C.
