FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE.
A four-roomed bungalow at ?G. Berry Street, North Beach, owned by Mrs Strahan, of 430, Colombo Street, Svdenham, and occupied by Mr Lvons, was destroyed by fire yesterdav alternoon The brigade had to use 800fc of hose the nearest tank being at the end of Berry Street. The cause of the fire is unknown. There had been no fires in the house for three days It is un derstood that the house was covered for about £350 with the Roval Insurance Company.
