BOY CYCLIST KILLED.
Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, June 13. A schoolboy named Graney Butts, aged thirteen years, was killed this evening when he was knocked down by a motor-van. The lad was cycling on a tram track at Waikiwi and was not seen by the driver of the van, which was travelling in the same direction, until he was a short distance ahead. The driver applied his brakes, but was unable to avoid the accident.
