PRICE OF EGGS AGAIN REDUCED.

Bad Weather Causes Continuance of Fish Scarcity.

VEGETABLES IN GOOD SUPPLY.

Owing to continued bad weather, fish is still scarce, and prices have hardened by a further Id a lb all round, with a few exceptions. There has been a drop in the price of eggs, making the retail cost Is 9d for first grade and Is 6d for second grade. Duck eggs are still Is Sd a dozen. Rhubarb is becoming scarce, and cucumbers and local grapes are off the market. Other seasonable lines are in good supply, and it is hoped to have the first mandarins in about a month’s time.
