Mr Macdermott in the Dail Eideann appealed to Mr de Valera to bring all the political parties of the Free State together until Britain had settled the economic war. The Opposition was anxious to help the Government to finish the dispute. Mr de Valera stated that he would accept all co-operation, but a Coalition Government would be ineffective,
