The condition of Mr W. J. Tomkinson, who is an inmate of St George's Hospital, has been causing his friends much anxiety, and a report from the hospital this morning stated that no change had taken place. Mr Tomkinson, who is a well-known trotting horse trainer, was injured on May 15 while loading horses on to a float preparatory to a visit to Wellington. Mr Tomkinson fell from the roof of the float and received injuries to the stomach which necessitated his removal to hospital.
