RELIEF OF DISTRESS.
Contributions to Mayor’s Fund. Contributions in cash to the Mayor’s Relief of Distress Fund now amount to £1992 7s 2d, and cash promised and goods received represent £2283 14s 6d, making a total of £4276 Is lid. All cash is received by the City Treasurer (Mr J. W. Niven), while goods should be sent to the Central Relief Depot and materials suitable for making clothes to the Women’s Auxiliary, 184, Oxford Terrace. Additional subscriptions are as follows:
