NINE PRISONERS
Will Be Sentenced on Friday. Nine prisoners will come up for sentence before Mr Justice Johnston in the Supreme Court on Friday. They are:— Victor Frederick Melville, forgery, reckless driving of a motor vehicle, causing injury. Albert Percy Pope, forger}' - (two charges). Charles Mitchel Newman and Charles Frederick Harvey, breaking, entering and theft (two charges). Charles Mitchel Newman, William Clarence Carol and Charles Frederick Harvey, breaking, entering and theft. Adolphus James Curline, indecent assault on male (three charges). James Lindland Anderson and Basil George Knox, breaking, entering and theft. Ronald Dempsey Crook, breaking, entering and theft (five charges).
